Tis the season for harvest pies that are enjoyed all through the fall months into winter. If you are planning to make a pie this Thanksgiving, an apple pie is always a wonderful addition and a complement to the pumpkin or pecan pie. Let me be honest with you–most of the time I buy pre-made pie crusts for my pies. It’s faster and sometimes more convenient and the pie crusts taste great. But if I have the time, I also will make my own pie crusts. I have a couple favorite pie crust recipes I like, but still haven’t quite perfected the pie crust!
